I just sent off my application for retirement. Let the games begin - literally.

I'll Never Get to Colorado This Way

I hesitate to read my kids' blogs. I like to see other folks' comments, which leads me to peeking at their blogs, and blog leading to blog, I look up and the clock on the wall(paper) says, "You been sittin' there too long, woman." I thought this was supposed to curtail e-mail time spent. Blogs, Facebooks, and e-mails all have to be check now! See why I titled this blog as I did?

A Long, Hot Summer

Both of my readers are already aware of my upcoming knee surgery. There is another plan beginning to surface. I've taught high school English and speech for 20 years. I'm tired. I want to retire. If everything falls into place, I will be moving to Denver at the end of summer. I almost hate to leave before the first day of school here. I want the great big grin to slowly work its way from the very marrow of my soul as I watch everyone else convene for the next battle. Push to shove, Colorado is reciprical with Arkansas, so I won't go hungry.
